As of 1st March, all Aquacomb pods are now made from 100% virgin tank grade polymer. This means all pods will be potable capable i.e drinking water compliant. This is great for retention/reuse systems as well as creating personal water reserves to use water during a drought, water restriction, and/or as an emergency water supply!
Previously, Aquacomb pods were made from recycled plastic. This new material change still means the pods are recyclable at the end of their life – they simply get melted down and turned into something new! How good!?
Unsure if your current project features 100% potable pods? If they were delivered before 1st March, they are most likely a mix between the 2 materials so we can not guarantee they are 100% potable and therefore are not safe to drink from! All pods delivered after 1st March are drinking water compliant and therefore safe to drink from!
